Eastvan and STAY IN THE GAME have placed in the mud but the former did so in 2022 and has not raced since, which gives his Quinn-trained rival, a 3yo, a bit less to prove. Rogue Encore will be a big player if his latest AW form can be transferred and, presumably with no fitness issues, he is probably the selection’s biggest threat.
