Improved spell over hurdles last spring included a sixth in the 3m Pertemps here; had a good experience when making all in a Galway chase (about 2m2f, yielding) in October and he's run well in two competitive staying handicaps since; needs improvement off this mark for the return to 2m4f but this test is worth investigating; tongue tied first time; thereabouts. |

Similar to Waterford Whispers in having a 135 rating over hurdles and 130 chasing, latter figure on the back of a recent C&D clear second, worn down late (by a 138-rated hurdler) after leading from halfway (yielding); major chance. |

Has hardly hit the ground running over fences having been beaten 32l and 23l over 2m1f and 2m7f respectively; sure to come good at some stage but peak form is over further, including a sixth in last season's 3m Pertemps Final at Cheltenham. |

Lightly raced 6yo who won twice over hurdles before finishing sixth of 24 in the 3m Pertemps Final at Cheltenham; ended up well beaten on his chase debut but he stayed on to some effect over 2m1f which was way too sharp; gets 6lb off Pied Piper and that should make it interesting. |
