Has plenty of ability, as evidenced by his smooth win at Newbury (6f, good to firm) in June, but he does himself few favours at the start; wouldn't judge him too harshly on his latest 5f run, when making the running, and he is greatly respected back at 6f and in a Class 5. |

Came from the rear to score at Newbury last month and was placed off today's mark at Epsom (also 6f, good to firm) three weeks ago; can probably cope with this drop back to a stiff 5f but he'll need some luck from stall 1 and his tendency to start slowly is also a worry. |
