His sole success came at Doncaster (7f) on good to soft ground last July and he stepped up on a couple of modest efforts this term when fairly close fifth of 12 over that C&D (good to firm; first-time cheekpieces) last month; has dropped to a workable mark and may have a say if widest stall proves no barrier. |
