Form & Verdict
Strong form in well-contested handicaps at about 5f in the autumn (on soft and good) and was having his first run in a 6f turf handicap in Britain when holding on well at Windsor (good to firm) in June; now tackles a downhill track for the first time but still well treated despite going back up 4lb and yard won this in 2021.

Over two years since he last ran on the AW but that made it 2-2 at Wolverhampton; won last year's Stewards' Cup and this year's Wokingham, so clearly a tip-top handicapper when on his game; found the ground too slow in last month's big handicap at Goodwood but his run back there last time is not so easily forgiven.

Had an excuse (ground not fast enough) last time when failing by a long way to complete Stewards' Cup double; made all at Ascot (6f, good to firm) in his other two British runs this term, including the Wokingham; very useful handicapper when conditions are ideal.

Sprang a 40-1 surprise in this race 12 months ago, making all to beat Apollo One with the stands' rail proving advantageous; unsuccessful stint in Bahrain early in the year saw his handicap mark ease and he's returned to Britain with a bang, making all at Ascot (6f, good to firm; strong tailwind) in May and repeating the dose in the Wokingham there six weeks ago; only 4lb higher and foolish to think he couldn't slip the field again.

Form & Verdict
Has 15 turf wins under his belt and although the latest was two years ago he so nearly made it over C&D on Derby day (had won the race in 2022); another good effort at Ripon since and he looks sure to go well back here.

Useful on his day; however, on a three-year losing spell and current mark reflects a decline in his form since last July; the betting may offer further guidance with Ripon reappearance under his belt.

Formerly smart handicapper; 15 wins from 94 starts including two victories over C&D; hasn't won anywhere since 2022 and lost his way last year, but did go close here on 2024 reappearance; could bounce back; goes on any ground.

Has taken a hefty drop in the weights since her good second at Chester 12 months ago but she has mostly been treading water since, including when tongue tied or in a hood (no aids today); up against it.

Seen more regularly on turf and it's over two years since her one AW win (6f) but she's been running well off much-reduced mark of late; shouldn't be too far away if no ill effects from leaving off the headgear.

Form & Verdict
Slow start to 2024 but there was a flicker of life when fourth to Get It at Windsor (6f, good to firm) in June and he's now 2lb lower than when winning this in 2023; reunited with David Probert for the first time since and may well rise to the challenge.

Solid sprint handicapper for the Channons over the years but only occasional flashes of his old self in 2024; has dropped down the weights but he reappeared for new yard with tailed-off effort at Ascot 16 days ago and can only be watched after that.

Won 6f maiden at Newbury last July; hasn't gone on from encouraging handicap debut on Kempton AW (6f) in February and found little over that C&D last time; down 4lb but has something to find in first-time cheekpieces.

Turf winner as 2yo; missed all of 2025 but she's made hay off a much-reduced mark on AW for new yard, not needing much urging to complete the 6f hat-trick at Southwell in January; up 4lb but her best handicap form for previous yard was gained off a higher mark than today's; much respected.

Thrown in on her best form for Georgina Nicholls and she made it 2-2 for new connections with a Lingfield win that was more commanding than the winning distance might suggest; 1lb wrong under a penalty but surprising if there isn't a fair bit left in the tank.

Form & Verdict
Clear 5f winner on debut (good to firm) but highly tried in Group company after, not disgraced at Royal Ascot, then tackled soft in France; well beaten on recent handicap debut at Redcar (5f) and while he was entitled to need the run the fitting of cheekpieces suggests other interpretations.
