Form & Verdict
Had a fair strike-rate before this year but he had looked exposed as a mid 70s performer so this year's transformation has been quite a feather in Jim Goldie's cap; made it six wins for the year (four of them here) when dominating the Scottish Stewards' Cup (6f, good) two weeks ago; 4lb higher but he's uncomplicated and should give it another good go.

Not won since his stellar campaign in 2024 but there has been promise this year, including at Hamilton on Friday; 2lb lower today and now sports cheekpieces for the first time; chance.

10yo who is winless since August 2024 and needs to improve upon his last few performances; however, he's a nine-time course winner, including this race in 2024, and his reduced mark appeals on form as recent as this May; not discounted.

Form & Verdict
Well treated on last season's best and signs that a revival could be around the corner in recent starts; new stable could coax him back to form but others appeal more today.

Arrives in fine form and bidding for a hat-trick following back-to-back 6f wins here, emphatically making all on latter occasion; has won over the minimum trip too so rates a big player under a 4lb penalty.

Much the oldest contestant in this field, being a 9yo, and he's conceding weight all round; managed to defy top weight at Redcar on penultimate start but that was in a slightly lower grade.

Four fine efforts in 5f handicaps between April and June, third in the Dash off a 4lb higher mark; does need to bounce back from a couple of lesser efforts though.

Well handicapped on last year's C&D form for Karl Burke but refused to race in April on final outing for that yard and down the field over C&D on recent stable debut, when again awkward at the start; risks attached.

Beaten 16 times since his C&D win in September 2023; has often run well in defeat, including here, but he put a major black mark on his record at Nottingham in April, belatedly leaving the stalls but downing tools and bucking around immediately afterwards; the combination of a subsequent stable switch/wind surgery/change of headgear could all be beneficial and there's no doubt he has the ability to win a race like this; risky but feared.

No improvement for a sixth furlong and/or slower ground at Newmarket last month; had been threatening something bigger before that though and he's interesting with a stiff 5f likely to suit.

Raced exclusively at 5f, on firm ground in the US and on good or faster since joining Richard Fahey; has strongly suggested that a sixth furlong would be beneficial, keeping on stoutly at Royal Ascot three weeks ago, and this mark probably not beyond him; slower ground is an unknown factor but his smart half-brother Kerdos acts on it and his dam recorded her only win on soft; interesting.

On a handy mark and he ran well for second in a Racing League handicap on Thursday (6f, AW); claims would be enhanced if ground conditions slowed.
