Gelding operation has done the trick, with him winning a soft-ground Goodwood seller and running to a similar level in defeat since; didn't look to have any excuses on his first crack at this trip on his nursery debut (same mark) last Monday though. |

Gelding operation has done the trick, with him winning a soft-ground Goodwood seller and performing better again in defeat under a penalty at Bath last time (firm; stumbled at the start and hit traffic); trainer has made a good start with 2yos and he's one to consider. |

Reared as the stalls opened on debut and unseated his rider; again reared at the start in a Thirsk maiden (5f, good) next time but apparently showed modest form in sixth of eight and has now been gelded. |
