Dropping down the weights and he didn't run badly when sixth behind a couple of these over C&D 18 days ago; that run didn't really suggest he was primed to strike though; change of headgear today. |

Won a Newcastle novice (7f, AW) last November but he's found it tough going in handicaps this season and was only sixth of 12 at Newcastle (first-time blinkers) two weeks ago; still lightly raced but he has something to prove on this drop back to 6f. |
