It's hard to pinpoint whether the source of her improved run at Haydock 11 days ago was the step up in trip (7f), the switch to nurseries or the heavy ground but it was a good effort all the same in a much stronger race; can race off 2lb lower today (due to be 4lb higher from the weekend) and makes appeal. |
