Made light of a year's absence to take a 2m6f Cartmel handicap in July (Time Was 20l behind), but beaten before the extra distance became an issue at Perth (3m) subsequently; something to prove after that, but mark remains competitive set against his peak bumper form. |

Promise in bumpers; low key over hurdles until showing fine attitude when scoring at Cartmel (2m6f, good; 14-1) four weeks ago; that breakthrough win came after a year off so there's potentially more to come; 4lb rise seems fair so should be thereabouts. |

Placed in all three bumpers last year in 2024; did not show a great deal over hurdles last year but had soft ground as a plausible excuse when tailed off here (2m1f) on handicap debut a year ago; tries a new trip on this first start since; worth a glance in the betting. |

Placed in all three bumpers last year; did not get competitive in first three hurdle races but his fifth at Perth (2m, good) in May was more encouraging and he's open to significant further progress in handicaps. |

Very close second in five-runner bumper here last September but well beaten on all three hurdling starts this year; has too much to prove. |
