Switched to chasing this season; still in front when clouting two out at Ayr (3m, soft) on second attempt, before coming down at the last; no such mishaps at this track (2m7f, good to soft) six weeks ago and he won in good style; 7lb higher today (with 5lb claimer recruited, though) and this trip is a big step into the unknown but he ran on strongly in that latest start; unexposed and has to be considered seriously. |
