Dual-purpose; won a maiden hurdle at Cork in December (2m1f, sft-hvy); has run well on this sort of ground on the level; failed to beat a rival in 9.5f handicap here on latest; not an obvious candidate for this discipline on breeding.

Curragh maiden winner for Jim Bolger last season (6f) and pick of form for current yard when runner-up in 1m2f handicap at same venue; useful hurdler (won at Cork on testing ground) but well held in Fred Winter; Flat return was scuppered when badly hampered early on in Curragh premier handicap last month; drops in grade here with visor tried.

Fourth runner for yard; won his maiden here over 6f but stayed this far when runner-up over C&D off 90 last July; landed Cork maiden hurdle in December before tailed off in Fred Winter at Cheltenham last month; handicapped to be involved back on the Flat.

Won his Flat maiden over 6f but stayed 1m2f; had no problem staying 2m over hurdles when showing significant improvement to win at Cork in early December, keeping on willingly to thwart solid yardstick Ole Ole; it's probably safe to turn a blind eye to his subsequent absence when his trainer has won three of the last seven runnings of this race; there has been money about for him in the last fortnight; Flat profile suggests he may benefit from today's surface (all hurdle runs in the mud).

Got off the mark in a 6f maiden at this track on return in March and a fine run at 1m2f two weeks later; kept at that trip for this yard and solid first two starts but below form here in blinkers last time; the headgear left on back in trip and is in the mix.
