Looked as if he'd come on for the run and benefit from the experience when runner-up on sole 2yo start, over 1m on Newcastle Tapeta; up against it in a useful if muddling 1m2f novice at Newmarket 11 days ago where he didn't give up his lead lightly in third; another new trip but open to more improvement in a less competitive race. |
