Turf winner in Ireland; beaten only 1l with hood fitted in small field at Newcastle on debut for new yard; possibilities off same mark, provided he builds on that effort.

Speedy type finished second to both Kansas (Tipperary) and Howd'yadoit (Down Royal) before beating the former in Cork conditions event in July (making all); following month didn't do himself justice (unable to dominate) in Listed Curragh Stakes when 12l off Ipanema Queen; good bit to find here in a strong renewal.

Looked progressive when dominating in a small field at Cork but was pestered up front before dropping away at the Curragh (5f), finishing behind Ipanema Queen and Nadmiid; retains potential.

Improved from Down Royal debut when worn down late by Kansas at Tipperary; creditable second behind the subsequent Ballyhane Stakes winner Howd'yadoit at Down Royal (Naamid third) before turning the tables on Kansas (gave 5lb) in a 5f rated race at Cork, that rival may emerge best in the rematch; rider unable to claim 3lb now.

No match for Sir Alfie on Down Royal debut but much better form when only worn down late by Kansas at Tipperary when forcing it (now 5lb better off with that rival for a 1/2l beating, with an additional 3lb claimed); again only caught late on at Down Royal since, this quick 5f sure to suit.
