Grand family dual-purpose performer won his latest hurdle at Tramore in May (2m) and been running well on the Flat since, including when finishing well over 1m6f here on Monday; not quite proven over this far and lot of weight to shoulder for a relatively handy type. |

3-36 and two of those wins were over hurdles; however, made up a lot of ground to be third of 16 in a 2m Flat handicap at Navan 19 days ago and that entitles him to a place on the shortlist. |

Best form this year has been over hurdles at Tramore; only Flat win was in 2023, and he needs to improve on recent efforts; strong trainer/rider combination. |

Switched to the Flat of late and not disgraced over 2m at Tramore and 1m4f at Gowran; more needed here though. |
