13th Apr 2024 Heavy 4m 2f 74y Class 1 |
11st 5lb |
Usually front-runs or races prominently; best known for last year's NH Chase at the Cheltenham Festival (3m6f, soft; has won well on soft to heavy) where he was 4l ahead when falling two out; that left a lingering stamina question but he resumed improvement to be second in the big 3m2f handicap at Newbury in November when last seen; raised 7lb but he's a second-season chaser who may well improve again and makes serious appeal. |

5th Nov 2023 Soft 2m 3f 210y Class 1 |
11st 4lb |
Front-runner who went close in Grade 2 novice chase at Navan (3m, good to yielding) in February and ran a mighty race in the Grade 2 NH Chase at the Cheltenham Festival (3m6f, soft), where he was 4l ahead when falling two out; takes sizeable drop back in trip on reappearance but surplus stamina tends to be a plus on testing ground at Carlisle and he has leading claims. |

14th Mar 2023 Soft 3m 5f 201y Class 1 |
11st 7lb |
Can front-run; 23l seventh when 66-1 in 3m Grade 1 novice hurdle here 12 months ago but better than that with wins either side last term; chase career got off to a very unpromising start behind Chemical Energy over these fences; left that way behind over 3m at Navan on last two outings, though, effective in the mud and has potential for major stamina tests such as this, so he's a big each-way player if Cheltenham record can be forgiven. |
