Won a nursery here at last year's Glorious meeting (7f, good to firm) and back on the scoresheet at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) in August; fifth of 13 at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) since and this 3yo could build on that latest performance now back up in trip; unraced on slow ground.

Proved resurgent with success on the July course (1m, good to firm) last time, albeit off 3lb lower and with rider taking off 5lb; this looks a harder task but he's had a light campaign and may have more to offer.

Down the field (beaten 8l) in the Britannia on his only previous attempt at 1m; this season's form figures are a tad misleading as he's not been running badly, including last time in a deep 7f handicap at Goodwood; only 4lb higher than for his nursery win and Jack Dace takes off 5lb; could be interesting.

Perhaps found out by lack of recent match practice in C&D event on reappearance then faced a difficult task at Royal Ascot; overcame trouble to win 7f nursery at this meeting (good to firm) 12 months ago and looks interesting on that form.

All seven runs on good or quicker; highly tried last season after overcoming some bother in running in a 7f handicap at Glorious Goodwood, but that win was off an 8lb lower mark and, while he didn't have the clearest of runs back at Goodwood on return (having been gelded), he couldn't be called unlucky; steps up to 1m for the first time; others have more pressing claims.
