Has won four over hurdles and four on the Flat in the past ten months; a further 4lb rise for his latest Windsor win (1m3f, good to firm) will test him and he possibly wouldn't be as well suited as some of the others by rain, but he still has a decent chance of going in again.

There's so much to like about what he's done for Sheena West over the last year or so over hurdles and on the Flat; 3-3 in this sphere this year, including a clearcut win when 6-5 favourite over C&D three weeks ago; up 6lb and in a higher grade but no surprise if this is another win.

Useful hurdler (fifth in the Boodles at the Cheltenham Festival) who has won both Flat runs this year, barely breaking sweat to score at Lingfield 11 days ago (extended 1m3f, good to firm); a 6lb rise asks a stiffer question of him but he surely still has some scope for better at this level.

No ground worries; should be far more exposed than most of these but he's still looked capable of better on last two starts; just how much he was affected by a slipped saddle in the 4yo handicap at Cheltenham (first-time cheekpieces) on latest start can't be judged but his jockey was badly inconvenienced on the final turn and they still finished fifth of 21, ahead of several of today's rivals; one to note.
