Strong 6f novice form as a 2yo, winning at Newcastle (easily) and defying a penalty at Carlisle four weeks later; ran a fine race in the Redcar Two-Year-Old Trophy when last seen in October, travelling best but headed in the final 100 yards, eventually losing second close home; that looked a weak renewal of that Listed prize and he was well drawn, so while he's still low mileage he has to show he's worth his 14lb higher mark. |
