Shaped well when best of the near-side group in this race last year, finishing fourth of the 19 runners (6f, good); burned a few fingers afterwards, often running well but unable to put his head in front; returns from a break on a dangerous mark (back with his 2024 trainer, having been with Pam Sly and Hayley Burton) and no doubt he will have his supporters again. |

Failed to win in seven runs for Pam Sly this year but he often ran well; poor draw when down the field at Goodwood in July; can be competitive off this mark and won't mind how much rain there is; interesting starting out for a new stable (same owner) with the hood back on. |
