Chased home - albeit from afar - the well-handicapped Brentford Hope at Newbury in November (good to soft) and that wasn't his first competitive run in handicaps; has his quirks and can race freely, but soft/heavy ground wouldn't have suited the last twice and he returns to the scene of his wide-margin bumper win. |
