Well backed on seasonal return at Lingfield (1m, AW) and landed the money in effortless style; 1m4f next time didn't suit and he was only fourth at Chelmsford eight weeks ago having made the running back at 1m; needs to bounce back to his best. |

Flopped on his handicap debut last summer (1m2f; sent off the 9-4 second favourite) but the ground was soft and he was reportedly unsuited by it; showed his true colours on his reappearance 15 days ago, making all over 1m at Lingfield to win by 4l; a 12lb rise asks a much stiffer question of him but he created such a positive impression at Lingfield that it may well still be within range; the additional 4f might prove a bigger obstacle. |
