Now a 12yo and can't keep going forever; has run just once this season, when soundly beaten in the Grade 2 Boyne Hurdle at Navan last month, but that same 2m5f contest was used as his prep outing prior to his 33-1 win in this race last season (soft); followed up Grade 1 Liverpool Hurdle at Aintree (3m, good to soft); has an excellent record at the Festival, with form figures reading 411201, and no surprise if he plays a leading role once more. |
