Half-brother to top-class State Man made a winning hurdles debut at Tramore last year; ran a decent race behind stablemate El Fabiolo at Leopardstown in March; fading in third when falling at the last at Cork and poor jumping took its toll when pulled up at Punchestown; goes chasing now; has twice been scratched on good-to-yielding ground, which is a concern. |

Tramore maiden winner (yielding) last year; after a long layoff, was no match for stablemate El Fabiolo at Leopardstown but was running well considering he faced a stiff task at the weights when a faller at the last (held in third) behind two 150+ rated rivals over 2m at Cork over Easter; half-brother to State Man remains unexposed and could go well if staying this longer trip (Townend's choice); hood back on. |
