Blundered at the ninth in this last year and had a mishap with his tack, so was pulled up; 3m4f win at Punchestown (soft) that February had made him look tailor-made for this test and he's roared back better than ever this season with major 3m wins on soft when ridden prominently in the Munster National and the Troytown; slow over many of his fences last time but looks sure to have a big shout if he can stay near the pace. |

Stayed on strongly to capitalise on Ain't That A Shame's final-fence blunder in Munster National latest, relishing the soft underfoot conditions; 8lb rise for win by a head makes life tougher (front two did pull 9l clear) but clearly in good heart and should be coming home well with a clear round. |
