Two wins over hurdles, one of them here and one on testing ground; hopelessly out of sorts in 2m chases this winter but he's dropped 19lb in the weights and the return to a more suitable trip, as well as the return of cheekpieces (worn for both wins) point to a better run being on the cards. |

Defied much higher marks twice over hurdles at around 2m4f (has shown a bit at 2m7f/3m); no trace of that form in his five 2m handicap chases this term and he has less to prove on softer than good, but he's back up in trip today, the return of cheekpieces (not tried this season) looks a positive and he's on such a reduced mark that he needs a close look in the betting. |
