Friday – Royal Ascot Day 4 Tips Round-up
There are two Group 1 races for three-year-olds on day 4 of Royal Ascot with the top fillies in the Coronation Stakes and six-furlong sprinters in the Commonwealth Cup. The Coronation Stakes is the target for 1000 Guineas winners across Europe and always attracts a top-quality international field. Before Alcohol Free’s success last season, the previous British-trained winner was Rizeena in 2014 with fillies from Ireland and France sharing the six renewals in between.
The Classic generation is also in focus in the Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes, a race that regularly features horses that ran in the Epsom Derby. The card opens with some smart two-year-old fillies in the Albany Stakes and our Royal Ascot day 4 tips will try to unravel some very competitive handicaps in the last three races to help you make the most of your Royal Ascot bets. The Sandringham Stakes and the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes are followed by the concluding Palace Of Holyroodhouse Handicap.
