Japanese raider who has made his name over 6f, winning two Grade 1s on home soil and placed in three British Group 1s, latterly the July Cup at Newmarket where he wasn't stopping at the finish; ran well on his only start over 7f (in 2024) and it was over 1m that he won his first ever race; an intriguing runner, though the glaring concern is that his peak efforts have come on good or faster ground and this surface is likely to be the softest he's raced on (effective on yielding back home).

Grade 1 winner in native Japan (6f, good to firm) in March then second in 6f Group 1 at Sha Tin; no match for the winner but that was Ka Ying Rising, the best sprinter in the world; has finished strongly when racing round a bend in those races, which suggests this straight course will suit, and star jockey Joao Moreira has winning experience at Ascot; leading claims.

The winner of three of his six starts, coming from well back to score at Newcastle six weeks ago (6f, AW); this is a deeper race but the manner of that success marked him down as one who could make his mark in stronger company; still looks feasibly treated despite the 4lb rise.

Won a valuable C&D handicap last September; again good to soft when this very lightly raced 4yo reappeared four weeks ago with a close second of seven back over C&D; up 3lb but on the shortlist.
