Won regional Nationals over 3m4f/3m5f at Fakenham, Sedgefield and Fontwell, the last two in small fields in the mud this autumn; no match for the winner from two out in the Sussex National at Plumpton (same mark as today) seven weeks ago but beat the rest and it was another fine effort; needs a career best but it's easy to think this even longer trip will suit.

Two good runs last winter, following a long absence, and he's well handicapped on that form; however, he's been well below his best on both outings this season and a major turnaround is needed now in cheekpieces.

3-11 over fences, having won three on the trot last February-March, including this race on second leg; runner-up on first two starts this season, before lesser efforts on last two outings; last year's hat-trick was preceded by a heavy defeat and cheekpieces are now installed; has to be considered seriously in weak race.

Half-brother to smart jumper Grand Sancy and useful bumper winner Keskronrisk, among other winners; runner-up in Irish maiden point in October; bought for £55,000 and started 7-2 for a bumper at Fontwell (2m1f, soft) last month, coming from off the pace to lead 2f out in that 12-runner race and hold on by a short head; needs improvement but that was a promising start.

Lightly raced 5yo who showed signs of coming to the boil when third here (soft) before winning pretty much as he liked at Newbury (good to soft); that wasn't a strong maiden by their standards but it represented a sharp improvement on RPRs and he was in the Supreme until the recent forfeit stage; interesting.
