Australia Horse Racing Tips – Best Bets at Pinjarra and Swan Hill on Monday
AUSTRALIA HORSE RACING TIPS
Our sister site racingbace.com.au have sent us their best bets from Down Under as we look to make money on the other side of the world. You can watch all these races on Sky Sports Racing
SKILLED ARTIST (Swan Hill race 7, 1300m(61/2f), 6am GMT)
An improved performance is expected from Skilled Artist here. The three-year-old filly won her maiden on debut before finishing in the prize-money in two races at Ararat and Werribee, where she was trapped three wide but still managed to stay on well to finish third.
Sent off favourite in her most recent start, she was again positioned poorly out wide but still looked to be within striking distance a furlong out before being badly hampered. With Linda Meech on board and blinkers on this time around she should hold a better position and we can expect a big run.
NORDIC KING (Pinjarra race 2, 1600m (1m) , 4,40am GMT)
A huge day of racing in Pinjarra with 12 races on the card and Nordic King can strike early in race 2.
This five-year-old looked a promising type early in his career but things haven’t quite panned out as expected and he was disappointing last season. However, his comeback run this season showed that perhaps the flame still burns within as he flew home from the back of the field to finish within a length of the winner.
He breaks from stall one here and the booking of Willy Pike is a huge positive to his chances. If he replicates that return run, he must go close here.
RESISTANCE (Pinjarra race 6, 1412m (7f), 7.10am GMT)
Resistance saves her best for this course and rates a decent bet to continue her good track form.
She lined up in the $70,000 Pearl Classic here three starts ago and did all her best work in the closing stages to finish runner-up and she proved farr too good for her rivals at class 3 level over 1500m on her most recent start.
HAs a wide draw to overcome here but her hold-up style of racing should result in her getting a good position especially as there appears to be plenty of pace in the race and she can swoop late to score under Peter Hall.
