Brian Healy gives his best bets for Tuesday as he assesses all four of the afternoon’s UK and Irish horse racing meetings.
Four UK and Irish horse racing meetings will go to post on Tuesday – all behind closed doors due to COVID19 continuing to affect the country – but at least for now it is business as usual to some degree.

Wexford (jumps) – 2.05 – 5.35pm (7 races)
Taunton (jumps) – 2.15 – 5.10pm (6 races)
Brian Healy looks over every racecard going to post and gives his best bets for Tuesday and race-by-race selections for each meeting.

DOWN ROYAL RACING TIPS
(3.00 Down Royal)
LILY’S GEM got just reward for some consistent runs in defeat when getting the better of Penny Mallow at Carlisle last month and the Scorpion mare could follow up here.
Stuart Crawford’s charge had won a bumper at the same venue previously and she got back to winning ways with a hard-fought victory which saw her cross the line a neck to the good. That form has been franked by the fourth horse home winning since.
She could still have more to offer switching to the handicap ranks now and it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see her going close if backing up that effort from her initial 109 rating which looks fair on the balance of her achievements to date.
(3.35 Down Royal)
GOLAZO was a bumper winner at Ballinrobe last May and the Beat Hollow gelding showed useful form when switched to hurdling, including finishing third to Abacadabras at Gowran Park in October.
Willie Mullins’ charge switched to the larger obstacles following that effort and she ran out a ready winner over First Class Return at Tramore on his chase debut where she scored by the thick end of twenty lengths.
He’s not been seen out since that run and he has to give away weight all round on his reappearance; but with the potential for better still for his in-form yard he ought to give a good account and can strike again if returning fully tuned up.
1.50 – Deealli
2.25 – Plentiful
3.00 – Lily’s Gem
3.35 – Golazo
4.10 – Jury Duty
4.45 – Winged Leader
5.20 – Delvino
WETHERY RACING TIPS
GLOBAL FAME placed in Irish points including behind Chantry House prior to joining Fergal O’Brien and the Fame And Glory gelding can get back on the scoresheet here.
A winner at Southwell in a bumper on his debut for this yard he chased home the smart Harry Senior at Chepstow on his first attempt over hurdles.
That is strong form with the winner and third horses home both winning the since – the former in Grade Two company – and open to further improvement with a tongue-tie now applied he could prove tough to beat here.
FAZAYTE showed some fair form in France, both on the flat and over hurdle prior to joining Tom Symonds and the Spider Flight gelding has shaped with some promise over hurdles in two starts for his new yard.
Fourth to the useful Coconut Splash at Wetherby on his reappearance in January, he stepped up for that run to post a useful third behind Sao Maxence at Carlisle latest where he travelled well into the race but was unable to sustain his effort.
The runner-up from that contest has won since to give the form a boost and now switching to a handicap he might prove well-treated from this opening mark.
2.00 – Flanagans Field
2.35 – Global Fame
3.10 – Frankie Ballou
3.45 – Fazayte
4.20 – Commodore Barry
4.55 – Pond Road
5.25 – Party Fuzz
WEXFORD RACING TIPS
This is a poor race so UJUMPTHELASTUWIN looks worth siding with having shown glimpses of form in past runs including when finishing fifth at Clonmel last month.
Gavin Cromwell’s Multiplex gelding was beaten around twenty lengths on that occasion; but this contest won’t take a great deal on winning and a repeat of that effort ought to see him in the mix here for his in-form yard.
That last run came in a stronger race than this so he can get competitive and no surprise if he strikes a first win in a very winnable contest.
TEXARD has shown steadily progressive form with each of his starts over hurdles since joining Gordon Elliott from France, winning at the third attempt when successful over Faugernon at Cork in January.
The Kapgarde gelding wasn’t disgraced next time out behind Pakens Rock, eventually finishing fifth, and he could have more to offer having seen that form franked to some positive degree.
A mark of 125 remains workable and with Davy Russell in the saddle he could go close here.
2.05 – My Midnight
2.40 – Ujumpthelastuwin
3.15 – My Club Colours
3.50 – Texard
4.25 – Scoir Mear
5.00 – Shakeytry
5.35 – Bubbles In May
TAUNTON RACING TIPS
MUCKAMORE won an Irish point-to-point back in December, after which he joined Nigel Twiston-Davies and the Sholokhov gelding has shaped with promise on both starts where he has finished runner-up on each occasion.
Latterly he was beaten just over one length behind Southfield Harvest at Ludlow last month, only run down close home and there could be better to come from him.
The drop back in trip is unlikely to present a problem having finished runner-up over this distance the time before and he can make a bold bid to get off the mark at the third attempt.
TACTICAL MANOUEVRE is thriving at present, racking up a hat-trick of wins which includes two at this venue in recent weeks.
The Marienbard gelding was last seen beating Russian Service by a length in February, appearing to score a shade comfortably and he’s only 4lbs higher for that effort here so could be capable of continuing his fine spell of form.
The form of his last win has been franked by the runner-up scoring next time and Rex Dingle can use his claim for this assignment so most of his rise in the weights is offset. He can post a big run as a result and continue his winning run.
2.15 – Finisher
2.50 – Muckamore
3.25 – Desque De L’isle
4.00 – Tactical Manoeuvre
4.35 – Putdecashonthedash
