Kane To Score + Tottenham To Win (Sporting vs Tottenham) 5.45pm – 9/4

Both Sporting and Tottenham made winning starts to their Champions League campaigns last week, but the Portuguese side have made a lacklustre start to their domestic series and Antonio Conte’s Spurs can continue their unbeaten start to the season with a victory in Portugal.

Sporting ran out convincing 3-0 winners away to Frankfurt in their opening game of Group D last week, with former Spurs player Marcus Edwards grabbing a goal and an assist to continue his impressive rise up the ranks. They did lose defender Jeremiah St. Juste to injury though, and lost another couple of defenders to injury at the weekend, so may be susceptible to Tottenham’s impressive attack.

Spurs are still yet to taste defeat this season, and started Group D with a cosy 2-0 victory against Marseille, who were reduced to 10 men early in the second half after Chancel Mbemba’s red card. Antonio Conte has instilled his winning mentality in to the side, proving extremely difficult to beat, which is something the lilywhites have been lacking in recent years.

Harry Kane’s European record speaks for itself. In his last six seasons, he has made 35 appearances across UEFA’s European competitions, and has scored an impressive 32 goals. That is a phenomenal record and shows why he is one of the best strikers in the world. The 9/4 on offer for KANE TO SCORE + TOTTENHAM TO WIN looks a cracking bet and is one we’re confident will come in.

Diaz To Score + Liverpool To Win (Liverpool vs Ajax) 8pm – 9/4

Liverpool are struggling on all fronts this season, and started their Champions League campaign with a humiliating 4-1 defeat at Napoli. They’re a different force at home though, and the reds can get their first points in Group A at the expense of Dutch giants Ajax.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are still missing some key names through injury, including Jordan Henderson and Ibrahima Konate, but Thiago Alcantara made a welcome return last week and is a huge boost for the side to have him back. One player who has started the season well is Luis Diaz, who scored their goal against Napoli and already has three goals in the Premier League. With Mo Salah struggling to fire, Diaz looks the most likely player to net for them.

Ajax have already shown they’re going to be difficult to beat this year, with a 100% record so far this season, including a 4-0 demolition job of Rangers in the opening round of the Champions League. They haven’t had much of a challenge yet though, and Liverpool will be by far their most difficult test so far.

It will be a tight affair, with Ajax only conceding three goals in all competitions this season, but with the Anfield crowd to roar them on, Liverpool can edge this, with Luis Diaz hopefully continuing his fine start to the season. The 9/4 for a LIVERPOOL WIN + DIAZ TO SCORE looks big odds, considering his excellent start and Liverpool’s fantastic home record.

Bayern Munich To Win + BTTS (Bayern vs Barcelona) 8pm – 7/4

In what looks to be the best game on paper, Bayern Munich vs Barcelona should be one of the games of the night on Tuesday. The return of Robert Lewandowski to the Allianz Arena just adds to the hype around this game! These two met in the group stage last year, with Bayern winning both games, but Barcelona are much improved from that side who exited at the group stage last season.

Both sides made winning starts to their CL campaigns – Bayern winning 2-0 away at Inter and Barcelona cruising to a 5-1 victory against Plzen. Domestically, Bayern have made an unbeaten start, but have drawn three games they would have expected to win. Since drawing against Rayo Vallecano on the opening day, Barcelona have won all four games and sit second in the league, with old rivals Real Madrid two points clear of them.

After losing Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona, Julian Nagelsmann has strengthened his side with prolific goalscorer Sadio Mane and one of the biggest prospects in world football, Matthijs De Ligt, signing from Juventus. They put in a convincing performance at the San Siro to show why they are one of the favourites to win this year’s competition.

Barca boss Xavi has got them playing some fantastic football, and with key signings Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Jules Kounde all contributing to their impressive start to the season, they’re starting to look like the Barcelona of old. This will be by far their toughest test of the season though, and it will give a good indication of how good the Catalan side will do this year.

Bayern are always tough to beat at home, and boast an impressive record in Europe. With the recent head to heads in their favour, we expect the Germans to prove too strong for Barcelona. However, Barcelona have scored 20 goals in their last five games so can be expected to score. The 7/4 on a BAYERN TO WIN + BTTS looks a fantastic price and completes our treble for Tuesday’s CL action.
