Rohaan To Place In Top 3 (Haydock Sprint Cup) 3.30pm Saturday – 5/2

ROHAAN has been crying out for a furious gallop over six furlongs and he looks sure to get that here with plenty of pace on at the front end. This should give him a great toe into the race and allow him to settle and build into a big finish in the closing stages.

The long straight at Haydock will be perfect for him and any rain that is forecast in the morning will suite him better than many of his rivals as he’s very versatile ground wise.

Therefore the smart play here is backing him to be in the Top 3 at healthy odds of 5/2.

Newcastle To Win + Isak To Score (Newcastle vs Crystal Palace) 3pm Saturday – 10/3

Newcastle have had a mixed bag of results so far this season, with one win, three draws and one loss to their name. They face a Crystal Palace side who have had a marginally worse start (one win, two draws + two losses), but there’s only one way we want to play this match – NEWCASTLE TO WIN + ISAK TO SCORE.

Newcastle have only lost once at home in 2022 (a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool), beating Nottingham Forest and drawing 3-3 in a thriller vs Man City so far this season. Crystal Palace don’t have the best away record, losing eight of their 19 away games last season, and have started this season with a loss and draw in their two away games (albeit they were against Man City and Liverpool!). With Newcastle’s impressive home record and Palace’s mediocre away record, we’re keen to side with Eddie Howe’s men to grab all three points.

New record signing Alexander Isak had a debut to remember, scoring one and having another agonisingly ruled out for offside by the narrowest of margins. He’ll be determined to show the St James’ Park faithful what he can do and he looks a fantastic addition to the toon army. The odds of 100/30 for him to score and Newcastle to win looks a cracking bet, and we’re all over it!

Max Verstappen To Win (Dutch Grand Prix) 2pm Sunday – 4/7

No prizes for guessing who we’re tipping to win the Dutch Grand Prix this weekend. Back on home soil, MAX VERSTAPPEN is targeting his 10th victory of the season after a dominant win in Belgium, where he climbed through the field from 14th on the grid to win by a handsome 18 seconds from team-mate Sergio Perez.

Victory in Zandvoort would be Verstappen’s fourth on the spin and, while the track might not play into the Dutchman’s hands quite like it did at Spa, the Red Bull package is absolutely singing right now. Mercedes were supposed to be propelled closer to Red Bull’s rocket ship thanks to a new technical directive that came into force in Belgium, but Lewis Hamilton remained 1.8 seconds off Verstappen’s qualifying pace. Although that margin surely won’t stand up at the higher-downforce Circuit Zandvoort, Verstappen claimed pole here 12 months ago and romped home 20 seconds clear of the pack.

Mercedes should be more competitive, while Ferrari are capable of upsetting the odds if everything comes together on the day, but Verstappen will know he has enough to beat his rivals to the flag and extend his 93-point title lead.

Arsenal To Win + BTTS (Man United vs Arsenal) 4.30pm Sunday – 7/2

This should be a cracker of a game and we’re backing goals, goals, goals! Mikel Arteta’s ARSENAL side have won all five games this season and can get the better of an inconsistent Man United side on Sunday.

Arsenal have started the season like they mean business, winning all five games and scoring thirteen goals in the process. However, they’ve conceded in three of those five games and Man United will fancy their chances of scoring. They’ve only failed to score twice at home in the PL this year, and always tend to put in a better performance in the big games.

However, Arsenal seem to have that touch of class about them this season, and Man United have been found out on more than one occasion in the opening few games. The gunners will be hopeful of three points and we’re happy to side with them, with both teams scoring in a thriller on Sunday!
