AUCKLAND LODGE (2.20 Pontefract, 6f handicap)
Looks well handicapped and is running off the same mark as when successful at Catterick in September.
This three-year-old filly has not been at her best in two runs this season but appears to be running into form judged on her run at this track last time.
Well drawn for one who likes to go from the front and trainer Ben Haslam has his string in good form.
JOUSKA (2.50 Pontefract, 6f Listed)
Unlucky not to win at Group and Listed level as a juvenile and has suffered with luckless runs in a few races.
The same can be said of her comeback run at Newmarket, where the ground may have turned on the soft side and she was stopped in her run when coming to challenge a couple of furlongs out.
Signs are that she has retained her ability and she could be capable of running a big race.
LINCOLN PARK (3.10 Chester, 1m1f handicap)
Missed an engagement at Chester earlier this week and recent thunderstorms will have aided his chance as he goes well with cut in the ground,
Down to his last winning mark and jockey David Probert is also riding really well at the moment so plenty to like about his chances.
HOT TEAM (4.40 Chester, 1m2f handicap)
Plummeting down the weights from a high of 102 a couple of years ago and is now competing off a mark of 77.
Suspicion is his ability remains and he’s caught the eye a couple of times making late gains after being held up extravagantly in rear in most of his runs.
Draw in stall 1 this time may mean jockey Barry McHugh goes more forward early and that could be a good thing.
