Friday’s 1,753/1 Lucky 15 – Our UK Racing Best Bets On July 15
Horse Racing Tips on Friday, July 15
There are the six meetings spread across Britain on Friday, July 15th with the action coming from Newbury, Haydock, Nottingham, Newmarket, Hamilton and Pontefract. Our expert tipster has produced their best bets across the cards, which make up our advised Friday Lucky 15.
Lilikoi (1.50 Haydock) 7/2
Haydock’s opening Haydock Park Apprentice Training Series Apprentice Handicap appears to provide LILIKOI with a good opportunity to return to the winner’s enclosure.
This daughter of Alhebayeb has produced progressive form figures in her three starts so far this season, finishing less than a length off the leader when second at Ayr last time out.
Lilikoi was only nabbed late that day by a horse who has won again since (was attempting to concede a stone), and therefore the pound rise received looks workable. Jockey Christian Howarth’s only previous ride for the Barron’s finished second, and he can steer Lilikoi to go one spot better on Friday afternoon.

Dancing Tango (2.43 Newbury) 4/1
We head over to Newbury on Friday for the UHY Ross Brooke Chartered Accountants Fillies’ Handicap, and one runner that appears to have been slightly overlooked in the betting is the Charlton’s DANCING TANGO.
This filly built on a modest debut effort to finish a 22/1 third in an Ascot maiden earlier this year, and that form’s worked out well since with the winner now rated 91 and the second 84.
Although Dancing Tango was not quite at that level at Goodwood subsequently, she never looked completely at home on that track and will benefit from returning to a more conventional circuit here.
Being by Camelot stepping up to an extended 1m5f is expected to be a big plus for Dancing Tango, and she kicks off life in handicaps off what looks a workable mark of 82, so looks well worth siding with here.

Rainbow Mirage (3.00 Haydock) 11/2
The Visit racingtv.com Handicap takes place over 6f at Haydock on Friday and the in-form mare RAINBOW MIRAGE rates the one to be with.
Mark Rimell’s charge carried a fine all-weather spell onto the turf with victory at Leicester in May, and she’s since finished second at Kempton and Newbury, just appearing to bump into fillies that got first run on her on both occasions.
Although up a pound for her latest effort, connections now turn to cheekpieces for Rainbow Mirage, with her form figures in the headgear currently reading a respectable 241336. This has the potential to set up for her with the prominently ridden Impeller and Dream Together just two potential pace angles, so her good recent run of form looks set to continue on Friday.

Breaking Light (4.10 Haydock) 9/2
Haydock’s Old Boston Fillies’ Handicap sees a warm favourite in Jilly Cooper, but this will be jockey Neeraj Rawal’s just second ride in Britain, and preference instead goes to Karl Burke’s unexposed filly BREAKING LIGHT.
This 3yo made an encouraging debut when runner-up (splitting rivals now rated 80 and 79) in an Ayr novice last summer, and she stepped forward on a modest seasonal reappearance at that track (where she ran without a shoe) when a 50/1 fourth in a Ripon maiden last time out.
Dropping back to 7f isn’t expected to inconvenience Breaking Light, and she has received wind surgery prior to making her handicap bow, which has the potential to unlock improvement.
This opening rating of 72 could underestimate Breaking Light, and that’s before factoring in her rider’s 3lb claim. Karl Burke has his string in good heart at present and any positive market vibes would suggest that connections are anticipating a big run from Breaking Light here.
