AFFIRMED (Trap 3,  3.37 Perry Barr)

Affirmed can take advanatage of some trouble around the first turn given there is plenty of early pace in this contest. This dog is far from rapid from the traps but his stamina should see him come through late if he can pick his way through the likely trouble.  Affirmed has been unfortunate to land races at open level at Monmore recently but can show his true ability at Perry Barr this afternoon.

SAVANA SCAMP (Trap 6, 4.48 Henlow)

Has been competing at the highest level in open races at Central Park (formerly Sittingbourne) and was succesful in that grade three starts ago. This drop to A2 level should again see him at  his best and he has superb form at this track, with seven Henlow wins on his CV. Hard to beat.

HELLO THERE (Trap 5, 5.17 Perry Barr)

Steadily improving through the grades at this track in the last few weeks, winning at A4 and A3 level. Put in a cracking performance at this A2 level on his first start in the grade last time, staying on strongly to go down by just three-quarters of a length in second. That proved he deserves his place at this level and he can get his head in front with some luck in running as he tends to start slowly.

LIOSGARBH CAHY (Trap 5, 5.28 Henlow)

Sprung a 10/1 shock when successful at A8 level at Henlow on his last start and the grader has deemed fit to raise him two grades for this start. That seems a big rise but he may be able to take it in his huge stride as he recorded a really fast time when winning his last race and his early pace should see him reach the first bend in front.  Hopefully, he’ll have the strength to see off some fast finishers and any trouble in behind will be to his advantage. Should be an exciting watch.
