SHOW PALACE (3.35 Musselburgh, 5f handicap)
Is 2lb below his last winning mark and the application of a visor for the first time could well be a good move as he’s started to behave awkwardly at the start.
That visor shoul;d sharpen him up and he’s well drawn in stall to take advantage of his early pace.
Finished second on his only visit to this track and goes well in soft ground, which he’s likely to encounter here.
CONFILS (3.55 Lingfield, 1m2f handicap)
Put together a good run of form in the summer of 2019 and seemed to be progressing nicely. Injury obviously intervened but she has showed signs of retaining her ability in two starts this season, notably on the all-weather last time at this track.
Switch to turf should not pose a problem and can get back to her best under jockey Adam Kirby.
AUXILIARY (4.35 Musselburgh, 2m handicap)
This trip is likely to take a lot of getting if the ground turns soft and one of the few in the race guaranteed to appreciate underfoot conditions.
Won a decent handicap on soft ground at York over 1m4f and looks worth another chance at this trip given the way he’s run recently,
Trainer Liam Bailey has his string in fine form and this horse makes some appeal at a likely massive price.
NEARLY FAMOUS (5.00 Lingfield, 1m3f handicap)
Has shaped with promise on first three starts for trainer Grace Harris since leaving jessica Harrington’s yard.
Had been off the track for around 500 days before returning to action last month and appears to be working her back to full fitness.
Had form on soft ground in Ireland on the Flat and over jumps and has the assistance of Hollie Doyle in the saddle.
