HORSE RACING TIPS ON MONDAY – BEST BET FOR THE DAY’S UK FIXTURES
1:45 Worcester – MansionBet Bet £10 Get £20 Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Chase (Div II) Cl5 (4yo+ 0-100) 2m7f
BROTHER PAT could be worth chancing to quickly get back to winning ways having posted a good third last time out in the wake of a win at Market Rasen in August.
That victory came on his chase debut when outbattling Train Hill and the Muhtathir gelding ran well in his follow-up bid when three lengths’ third behind Pens Man at Uttoxeter at the beginning of this month where he again finished well and this longer trip ought to suit.
He’s only up 1lb in the weights and still unexposed as a chaser he could have more to offer in this discipline so is taken to get back on track.
2:10 Brighton – whichbookie.co.uk Free Racing Tips Handicap Cl4 (3yo+ 0-80) 6f
MAMILLIUS could be worth chancing back at a venue where he often runs well and the three-time course and distance winner can get back on the winning trail here.
George Baker’s charge was a winner here back in May and the Exceed and Excel gelding also struck at Epsom more recently when going in over six furlongs there in July before posting a very creditable eighth under a penalty at Goodwood behind Mr Wagyu.
He wasn’t seen to best effect at Lingfield latest but this is an easier grade and racing from the same mark back at this track he could add another win to his record here.
4:50 Thirsk – Follow @ThirskRaces For 2022 Ticketing News Handicap (Div II) Cl5 (4yo+ 0-75) 7f
SINGE ANGLAIS has been in decent form in recent months, scoring at Carlisle in July and making the frame on all three starts since, most recently finishing just one length third behind Motawaazy at Pontefract ten days ago.
He hung right there but kept on well for the bronze medal in what was another decent run and the form of his earlier fourth at the same venue has been franked by the winner and runner-up.
Nigel Tinkler’s charge remains unchanged at the weights for this latest assignment and the Footstepsinthesand gelding can give another good account.
5:30 Brighton – whichbookie.co.uk Betting Offers Handicap Cl6 (3yo+ 0-65) 5½f
KING CRIMSON has a very good record here four course and distance wins and two runs in the frame from eight starts and the Captain Gerrard gelding can get back on the winning trail here.
John Butler’s charge was a winner at Catterick in August on just his second outing for this yard and he subsequently went close to a follow-up when a short-head second behind Breezyandbright over this course and distance three days later under a penalty.
Third when last seen back at Catterick he’s been given a breather since and cheekpieces are applied again for his return while this handicap mark is certainly within his range given he was rated higher earlier in his career.
7:15 Kempton – Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Fillies’ Handicap Cl3 (3yo+ 0-95) 7f
DIVINE MAGIC has been running well this term, often making the frame and notching up two wins at Leicester and Sandown latterly where the Farhh filly beat Nebulosa by just over one length last month.
Marco Botti’s charge struck readily that day, taking advantage of the slightly easier grade to come home in front and while a 5lbs rise demands more as she goes back up in class there could still be more to come from her and she can improve again to follow up here for her in-form yard.
She is proven on tapeta but now tackles polytrack for the first time and if taking to this surface she could go close in a competitive race.
