METHAG (2.50 Uttoxeter, 2m4f handicap hurdle)

Ran well in two starts, both over six furlongs, this season and has been staying on well on both occasions.

This step up to 7f should suit, especially when you consider that he won over this trip at Lingfield in February.

Had just the six runs so should still be improving.

FIELD EXHIBITION (3.20 Uttoxeter, 2m4f handicap chase)

Ran a fine race behind Grand National runner-up Magic Of Light in a Listed chase at Newbury in December and would have finished a good second but for unseating her rider at the last.

Was probably out of her depth in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen last time and this class 3 handicap looks far more her level.

Is back down to an attractive mark and she is a course-and-distance winner so plenty to like about her chances.

SRI SENE POWER (4.00 Bath, 1m3f handicap)

Won last time but still raced incredibly green and needed all of Silvestre de Sousa’s urgings to keep her in touch.

Got up to win cosily over that 1m2f trip and the extra furlong and a half in distance should also see her to better effect,

Steps up in class but there was a lot to like about her effort last time and she should prove better than a 74-rated handicapper in time.

SLAINTE MHOR (4.50 Hexham, 2m5f handicap chase)

Should still be improving after just five career starts and has showed signs of ability in pretty much all of them.

This looks a weak race which he should be capable of winning and trainer Lucinda Russell is starting to find the winner’s enclosure with a bit more regularity in the last couple of weeks.
