International insights – Three horses to back at Gulfstream and Aqueduct
International racing expert, Graham Rossiter picks out three horses to back at Gulfstream and Aqueduct on Saturday 23rd November.
There are some good quality cards Stateside this Saturday. I’ve selected my three best bets from around the action.
GLADITA (6.52 Gulfstream Park West)
This Juvenile filly has a fair bit to find on ratings going into this event but she displayed a terrific attitude when winning her most recent start and there is likely plenty more improvement to come. This hope is boosted by the fact she has posted some useful recent works and looks good value under crack apprentice Cristian Torres.
FREE ENTERPRISE (7.50 Aqueduct)
Chad Brown and Javier Castellano team up with the promising Free Enterprise in this decent Allowance contest. The 4yo gelding finally got his head in front on his latest start at Belmont, form which has been boosted since when the runner-up Somes Sound subsequently landed a decent maiden. With the step up to 7f for the first time firmly in his favour, Free Enterprise is a confident selection.
SOUPER JACKPOT (9.24 Gulfstream Park West)
Cristian Torres has another live chance when he teams up with his old boss Mark Casse to ride this talented 3yo. He disappointed in the Listed Jerome Stakes at Aqueduct on his last start but coming back off a layoff and returning to Florida the lightly raced colt is fancied to account for some exposed rivals here.
