ITV7 Selections for Today’s Racing at Wolverhampton – £1,000 Jackpot on Offer!

ITV7 Selections for Wednesday’s Kempton Meeting

The popular free-to-play ITV7 competition provides players with the opportunity to win real cash prizes by identifying the winners of seven select races. This Monday’s competition centres around Wolverhampton’s all-weather card, with £1,000 on offer for the winner. We have provided tips for all seven races below – which make up our advised ITV7.

HARBOUR PROJECT – Race 1 (4:00pm Wolverhampton)

HARBOUR PROJECT is no superstar, but he has shaped well enough in recent starts – including over course and distance latest – to suggest that he has races in him off a mark of 46.

Tony Carroll’s charge finished fifth that day despite being drawn in the car park and with a lower stall to his advantage here, and Rossa Ryan entrusted with steering duties, a big run is anticipated.

AL BAREZ – Race 2 (4:30pm Wolverhampton)

This looks all about those heading the market, with AL BAREZ preferred to Forca Brasil. This Dark Angel colt has an exceptional pedigree being out of Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Jet Setting.

He built on a promising Haydock debut when justifying favouritism at Yarmouth last month. He had plenty in hand that day and his connections are enjoying a good run of form.

WONDER ELZAAM – Race 3 (5:00pm Wolverhampton)

This can go to WONDER ELZAAM, who had some smart form to his name when trained in Ireland, including a Group 3 fourth.

He ran well in defeat in his first two starts for these connections and looked slightly unfortunate not to finish closer than fifth returned to the all-weather last time out. His form figures on synthetics currently read 046213235 and with dropping back to sprinting looking in his favour – he gets the vote.

SHAKE A LEG – Race 4 (5:30pm Wolverhampton)

SHAKE A LEG cut little ice in two starts hurdling for Dan Skelton, but he stepped forward markedly on a modest debut for his current connections when finishing fourth at Newcastle last month.

That proved his proficiency for Tapeta, and he looks like a potential improver now tackling this 1m6f trip for the first time on the level.

NIGHT ON EARTH – Race 5 (6:00pm Wolverhampton)

Mick Appleby does well with his recruits from new yards, and NIGHT ON EARTH can continue that on his stable debut. This son of Kodiac is unraced on synthetics but showed that a sharp track suits when going in at Chester on penultimate run.

Still only a 3yo, there’s a fair chance that his best days remain ahead of him, and therefore a current mark of 80 looks workable.

BLAZER TWO – Race 6 (6:30pm Wolverhampton)

A trappy handicap in prospect, with marginal preference going to BLAZER TWO. This gelding has recorded steadily progressive RPR’s in his three starts since returning from a break, finishing second when a 25/1 shot at Chelmsford last time.

He steps up in trip here, which should suit and he looks less exposed than the majority of these rivals.

BEAU GESTE – Race 7 (7:00pm Wolverhampton)

Tony Carroll’s BEAU GESTE has a solid record here at Wolverhampton, having gained three wins and a second from eight previous starts.

His last win at this venue came off a mark of 57, so he is potentially well-in here running off 54 – especially when factoring in jockey Mollie Phillips’s 5lb claim.
