Ludlow races.Ludlow races.

Racing expert, Chris Loader throws up his Lucky 15 on Thursday, covering races at Ludlow and Sedgefield.
Looking forward to getting back in the hot seat with Racing Tips after a great first week. Hoping for plenty of more winners with Cheltenham around the corner, but first we have some good racing this Thursday. Best odds available here with William Hill.

2.25 Ludlow – Enrilo

(Bryony Frost/Paul Nicholls)
This is likely to be a short price come post time but I would be disappointed if he didn’t win. The five year old took to hurdles well last time out at Wincanton beating a nice horse of Emma Lavelle’s called Thunderstruck.

Enrilo displayed very nice bumper form last season and connections would like to think that they can probably go to the spring festivals with him. I think he has to give a win in our opening leg.

2.55 Ludlow – Head To The Stars

(Hugh Nugent/Henry Daly)
This horse ran an eye-catching race at Worcester last month in a decent Novices’ Handicap Chase. He plugged in under pressure to finish a respectable third. Now off a mark of 124 he appears to be on a handy mark starting off from a mark of 135 in his chase career.

Also, Hugh Nugent will be taking off a handy five pound claim. He was a decent hurdler winning on heavy ground at Wincanton in January 2018. I think he has a chance in this stamina contest if he can rediscover his form.

3.15 Sedgefield – Rollerball Rocco

(Charlie Todd/Charles Pogson)

Charles Pogson might have found a good opportunity for Rollerball Rocco to get his head back in front. A winner on heavy ground at Uttoxeter last December suggests he will be suited by the going. O

ff a mark of 93 in the field I think he is the one they all have to beat where winning is a struggle for most of them.

4.00 Ludlow – Longhousesignora

(Lucy Turner/Venetia Williams)

This mare made an encouraging return at Worcester last month finishing in third. Venetia Williams’ team are in good form operating at a 19% strike rate in the last fortnight and Longhousesignora could easily come on for the run.

A previous course and distance winner I think this horse has to go close tomorrow and will have the race fitness on her side.
