Lions Of Lyon – Best bets at Lyon-Parilly on Monday

FRENCH RACING TIPS

We were on the mark with Fantastic Spirit at Bordeaux on Saturday and we’re back with some fantastic France Racing Tips from Lyon-Parilly on Sunday.

Our experts have spent their weekend studying the form to provide you with the best French Racing Tips on offer. So take a look at our fancies and bet using the buttons below.

SOUVERAINE ELUSIVE (12.50 Lyon-Parilly, 1m4f handicap)

Improving rapidly of late winning three and finishing runner-up on her last four starts on a variety of ground.

This is a tougher handicap than the one she was successful in last time but she travelled like a decent filly on that occasion and quickly put the race to bed.

Top jockey Pierre-Charles Boudot comes in for the ride and there is a lot to like about her chances.

ARTISAN DE PAIX (14.35 Lyon-Parilly, 1m handicap)

A massive eyecatcher last time when seemingly full of running but getting no luck in running when 13th at Longchamp a fortnight ago.

Would have undoubtedly finished far closer with a clearer run and, while ground conditions are different this time around, he’s run a couple of decent races on good ground and is worth chancing at a big price to threaten at the finish here.

MOMOUR (15.05 Lyon-Parilly, 1m4f)

This race is a claimer filled with mostly inconsistent performers and Momour is no exception. He has recent form figures of 0800 but those have tended to come in races at a much higher level and the drop into claiming company should suit.

The six-year-old has won five times in his career and ran in a Listed race in June last year so this is easily the lowest quality field he’s encountered for a while and he could prove value here.

EL VISO (15.35 Lyon-Parilly Deauville,  1m4f handicap)

Inconsistent type who seems overpriced on the form he displayed in a couple of runs this year, notably his second at Cagnes-sur-Mer in January.

The fourth, fifth and sixth from that race have all won since, while El Viso was noted staying on strongly over 1m1f, a trip short of his best at Chantilly on his last start.

Better can be expected here.
