Horse Racing tips
It’s the start of another week and we’re hoping to continue our recent good form iver jumps and on the Flat at Southwell and Chester on Monday
So check out today’s horse racing tips and don’t forget to click the links to take advantage of the best price on offer
SOLAR IMPULSE (2.15 Southwell, 2m handicap chase)
Back down to an attractive mark and this veteran caught the eye when third on his first start since November over further than ideal at Uttoxeter last time.
Has placed form around Southwell and goes on decent ground so conditions should not be a problem and trainer Ian Williams’s string are performing according to market expectations recently, so any significant money must be followed.
CALVINIST (3.45 Southwell, 2m handicap hurdle)
A big field of 16 runners go to post at this tight track so there could be plenty of traffic problems early on and some luck will be needed.
We can expect Bryan Hughes to have this horse positioned closer to the pace than last time at Uttoxeter and the course should suit him.
Has run well here in the past and trainer Kevin Frost continues in good form.
KEEP BUSY (6.30 Chester, 6f Listed)
Has lived up to her name with five runs since lockdown was lifted but seems to be improving with every start and won a decent handicap at Ayr last time.
Has a good draw in stall 3 and was extremely unlucky not to win when second on her only start at the course a year ago.
Three-year-old weight allowance means she comes out well on the ratings and should go close.
