Sunday’s 11,249/1 Lucky 15 – Our UK Racing Best Bets On June 26

Horse Racing Tips on Sunday, June 26

There are the three meetings spread across Britain on Sunday, June 26th with the action coming from Uttoxeter, Windsor and Cartmel. Our expert tipster has produced their best bets across the cards, which make up our advised Sunday Lucky 15.

Hey Frankie (2.00 Uttoxeter) 15/2

The bet365 Mares’ Novices’ Handicap Hurdle looks a modest enough affair on paper, with Bright Sunbird coming into the contest a 16-race maiden and Miss Wachit needing to prove that a 50/1 handicap debut success was no fluke. At the prices, therefore, it looks well worth siding with HEY FRANKIE here for Michael Scudamore and jockey Richard Patrick.

This daughter of Mahler hasn’t managed to get her head in front in four starts to date, yet she has shown evident ability in both hurdles outings, building on a Worcester third when runner-up at Newton Abbot last month.

It was promising to see that Newton Abbot form received a boost when the winner, Gentle Connections, followed up back at that track earlier this week and given that rival holds an official mark of 117 Hey Frankie appears to be on a workable opening rating of 93 here.

A likely beneficiary of this decent ground, and with the step up to 2m4f also looking in her favour, it would be disappointing if she did not put up a bold showing here.

Sunday Lucky 15 Tips. Jockey Richard Patrick can get amongst the winners at Uttoxeter.

Kildisart (3.00 Uttoxeter) 9/1

A strong renewal of the bet365 Summer Cup, but Ben Pauling has made a particularly impressive start to the Jumps season with his string operating at a 23% strike rate (+23.55 to level stakes), and he travels to Staffordshire with the sole runner on Sunday in KILDISART.

Now a 10yo, the Simon Munir and Isaac Souede owned gelding has some very smart backform to his name which includes a victory in Aintree’s 3m1f handicap chase contested on the Grand National card.

Kildisart is now running off a pound below that winning mark, and he strongly caught the eye when a staying-on fourth at Newbury in March, after which his trainer reported him to be working very well at home.

Grand National dreams were unfortunately dashed when Kildisart unseated at the Chair, but he’s been given plenty of time to get over that spill and has his sights lowered here on return. 11st 13lb might appear a hefty weight burden, but two of the last four winners of this race carried 11st 12lb to victory, and Kildisart appears to be the class angle in a race where the majority have been doing their racing at a lower level than this.

Leroy Leroy (3.50 Windsor) 12/1

Although he admittedly doesn’t have the greatest strike rate, LEROY LEROY has been running well since reverted to the flat this year and could be about to break his losing run in Windsor’s Follow Us On Twitter/Instagram Vickers.Bet Handicap.

Jim Boyle’s charge only lost out in a head-bob for third at Goodwood last time and that form reads quite well in the context of this race.

Now 2lb below his last winning mark, Leroy Leroy finished runner-up here at Windsor a little over 12 months ago behind Noble Masquerade, who is now officially rated 9lb higher. Leroy Leroy finds himself on a 5lb lower mark, and that’s before factoring in his excellent rider Harry Davies’ 5lb claim.

If the addition of a first-time visor can spark even minimal improvement from Leroy Leroy here, he looks set to go well at what look respectable each-way odds.

Sunday Lucky 15 Tips. Jim Boyle can send out Leroy Leroy to claim the Windsor finale.

Lonimoss Bareliere (4.40 Uttoxeter) 5/1

Dan and Harry Skelton team up for a number of excellent chances on Uttoxeter’s Sunday card, with LONIMOSS BARELIERE, in particular, providing the pair with an excellent chance of victory in Uttoxeter’s closing The Bet Boost At bet365 Handicap Hurdle.

This 6yo is yet to taste success in a 15-race career to date, yet he has come mightily close in both of his starts since returning from a break, being beaten a nose at Sedgefield before a head defeat at Newton Abbot earlier this month.

He has gone up a pound for that most recent effort, yet a first success is surely just around the corner, and it’s notable that he finished a fine second over course and distance in October, so this track clearly holds no fears.

If they go a decent enough pace here expect to see him smuggled into this and produced with a strong run late.
