Monday
Six meetings to kick off the week, with five flat meetings plus a jumps card at Newton Abbot. It might pay to side with a couple of in-form jockeys across the cards:
Sean Bowen (41% strike-rate in the past two weeks) has a couple of excellent chances of improving his strike-rate with his two rides at Newton Abbot:
- Karannelle (3:45)
- Come On Du Berlais (4:15)
Flat Jockey Championship runaway leader William Buick has five rides on the evening card at Windsor:
- Manuha (5:35)
- Maybe Tonight (6:05)
- Bell Shot (7:05)
- The Princes Poet (7:35)
- Scarlet Dragon (8:05)

There’s also flat action at Ayr, Ffos Las, Wolverhampton (AW) and Killarney.
Tuesday
Another six meetings go to post on Tuesday, where the pick of the action looks to come from the all-weather evening card at Chelmsford. Top jockey Ryan Moore has been booked for two rides on their card:
- Inigo Jones (6:20)
- Boss Power (7:20)

There’s afternoon flat racing at Bath, Beverley and Dundalk, whilst the evening action comes from Killarney and Southwell.
Wednesday
We’re treated to the first Listed action of the week as Killarney hosts the Cairn Rouge Stakes (6:40). There’s plenty of interesting runners in the race, perhaps none more so than AP O’Brien’s Toy, who has his sights lowered after racing in Group 1’s the past two times.
Elsewhere, the impressive Kauto The King has rattled ion a hat-trick since Joe Tizzard took over the license from his dad Colin. He bids for a four-timer at Uttoxeter (4:43).
There’s five other meetings to get stuck into – Brighton, Catterick, Lingfield (AW) and Yarmouth on the flat, plus National Hunt action at Downpatrick and Uttoxeter.
Thursday

The racing picks up on Thursday as Longchamp hosts the Group 1 Grand Prix de Paris, which is a key warm up race to the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe later in the year. Queen’s Vase winner Eldar Eldarov is set to line up for the race, alongside the likes of El Bodegon and Aikhal.
There’s also Group 3 action over in Ireland, with the Meld Stakes (7:20). Trainer Jim Bolger has won four of the last nine renewals of the race, and will be hoping Boundless Ocean can enhance his excellent record.
There’s a further six meetings on Thursday – Chepstow, Hamilton and Leicester in the afternoon, plus Epsom, Killarney and Worcester in the evening.
Friday
A couple of Listed races form the key races to focus on for Friday. The Rose Bowl Stakes (3:18) at Newbury looks set to feature plenty of debut winners, but it may pay to side with Andrew Balding’s Chateau, who finished fourth in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. It should be a cracking race, with the likes of Noble Style (who beat Norfolk Stakes runner-up Walbank on debut), Legend Of Xanadu and Waiting All Night set to line up.

The other listed race comes from Hamilton, with Nahanni bidding to get back to winning ways in the Glasgow Stakes (7:47). Having finished in midfield in the Epsom Derby and the Queen’s Vase, trainer Charlie Appleby will be hoping the drop back in class is enough to get him back in the winners enclosure.
Another key race to look out for at Hamilton is the Scottish Stewards’ Cup (7:17), where Wokingham Stakes runner-up Popmaster will be a popular pick to resume winning ways.
The other four meetings on Friday come from Haydock, Newmarket (July), Nottingham and Pontefract.
Saturday

Emily Upjohn will be a popular pick to land her first Classic when lining up for the Irish Oaks (3:45) at the Curragh. This should be the race of the week, with the likes of AP O’Brien’s Tuesday and Concert Hall, plus Ribblesdale winner Magical Lagoon set to line up for the Group 1.
There’s plenty of other quality action on Saturday, with Newbury hosting the Super Sprint (3:30) and the Hackwood Stakes (2:56), whilst Market Rasen hosts the Grade 3 Summer Plate Handicap Chase (3:14).
There’s further action at Cartmel, Chester, Doncaster, Haydock, Newmarket (July) and Ripon on a busy but brilliant Saturday!
Sunday
The Irish action continues to be the pick of the action as the Curragh hosts a couple of Group 2 races on their card – the Minstrel Stakes (2:10) and the Kilboy Estate Stakes (3:55). Order Of Australia won the Minstrel Stakes last year and could bid for back-to-back wins in the race, whilst Pretty Polly Stakes 1-2 La Petite Coco and My Astra could reoppose in the Kilboy Estate Stakes.

Elsewhere, there’s a flat meeting at Redcar, plus jumps fixtures at Newton Abbot and Stratford.
