Tuesday’s Lucky 15 – Four Confident Picks On 13th September

Four meetings go to post on Tuesday 13th September, with action coming from Redcar, Uttoxeter, Wolverhampton and Yarmouth. Our lucky 15 includes a couple of confident picks from the jumps card at Uttoxeter.

Our expert tipster has produced their best bets across the cards, which make up our advised Tuesday Lucky 15.

Foreseeable Future (1.35 Yarmouth)

FORESEEABLE FUTURE has been in fantastic form since the summer and we’re keen to keep him on side in this. Since July he’s won twice and placed twice in six races, and none of his rivals are in anywhere near that kind of form.

He’s been dropped 1lb since his close second at Leicester last week and drops back into class 6 company – both things should be a big help in getting him back in the winners enclosure.

Of his rivals, Portelet Bay could be his biggest danger, with superstar jockey Hollie Doyle back on board. But, Talented jockey Benoit De La Sayette takes a useful 3lb off of Foreseeable Future’s back, and that can help continue his excellent recent form with another big performance here.

Prairie Falcon (2.53 Redcar)

It wasn’t that long ago since Michael Dod’s PRAIRIE FALCON was winning the Jaeger-Lecoutre Nursery Handicap at Glorious Goodwood, and that was his sole attempt at this trip. That was a class 2 race, so coming back up in trip to 7f and dropping down to class 4 company can be enough to land a second career win.

The form of that Goodwood victory has worked out well:

  • X J Rascal (won a class 4 last time out)
  • Coco Jack (won a class 2 next time out)
  • Miss Jungle Cat (runner up in a couple of class 2 races since)

He was beaten comfortably on the all-weather at Newcastle last time out, but was slowly away that day and still managed to finish third.

Hello Deira heads the dangers, after a couple of good recent efforts, and he had an entry in the Dewhurst Stakes, so is clearly highly thought of. However, he’s yet to get his head in front and Prairie Falcon can put his experience to good use here and gain another valuable win.

Lady Reset (4.45 Uttoxeter)

David Pipe has a 24% strike-rate when sending runners to Uttoxeter this season, and LADY RESET looks to have a superb chance of enhancing that strike-rate.

His last victory came in July, when running out a cosy winner at Stratford, before placing in class 2 company at Perth a month later. He was a shade disappointing last time out at Newton Abbot, but that was just the second time he’s finished outside the places over hurdles this year (from eight races).

Philip Armson’s useful 5lb claim further enhances our selection’s chances, and it’s difficult to see him outside of the places. Addosh was an impressive winner at Southwell last time out and will likely be in the mix again here, but at the odds we would sooner be with Lady Reset.

Translink (5.17 Uttoxeter)

Neil Mulholland’s TRANSLINK won last time out despite his saddle slipping twice. A repeat of that performance (hopefully minus the saddle slips) should be enough to win this!

He signed off last season with two wins and a close second in his final three hurdle runs, and resumed over hurdles with that win at Worcester. He had a poor run over fences in between, but he’s much more at home over hurdles and he proved that at Worcester. He finished comfortably clear of Presenting Pete that day and should do so again on Tuesday.

Of the rest, the in-form Nicky Henderson sends Buttsbury Lady here and she could prove his biggest challenger after a sixth in Grade 2 company last season. But we’d sooner side with Translink, who can continue his excellent form over hurdles with a fourth win from his last five races over hurdles.
