Wednesday’s Daily Double

2.50 Catterick – Django Django

I’ve been having some success with Jonjo O’Neil of late and I think Django Django is the one to beat here. The seven-year-old won well at Newbury in January when last seen which is a race that often throws up high class winners including the likes of Mister Malarky last year. Furthermore Jonjo O’Neill jnr is aboard and is one of the most in form jockeys this season and I very rarely feel he ever gives one a bad ride This particular contest doesn’t look the most strongest and despite carrying a penalty he still comes out best on official ratings and should go all the way.

6.15 Kempton – Be Fair

This four-year-old has been maintaining his form on the all-weather for Tony Carroll this season. His latest effort can be marked up at Lingfield after he finished third and was unlucky not to get closer after being hampered at a crucial stage. That race was won by Brooklyn Boy for Ivan Furtado who has been in excellent form of late winning on his previous start at Southwell. If you go back further through Be Fair’s form he won over the course and distance in a higher rate and a return to Kempton will surely suit the son of Kyllachy. With Tom Marquand booked for the ride and a positive draw in stall three he surely has to go very close.
