A MOMENTOFMADNESS (1.45 York, 5f handicap)

Bounced back to form with a good third at Glorious Goodwood and didn’t get the clearest of passages throughout the race.

The horse who finished one place behind him on that occasion, Benny And The Jets, has since come out and won sp the form looks solid.

Has won at the course before but impossible to know if his draw in stall 22 is a positive.

JUAN ELCANO (2.45 York, 1m4f Group 2)

Did well last time when staying on well to finish third in the Dante last time despite being the first horse off the bridle.

Shaped then as if a step up to a mile and a half would suit and well worth backing the outsider of the field to spring a surprise.

Trainer Kevin Ryan has won more prize-money at York than any other course in Britain and he could scoop another big pot here.

MAGICAL (3.15 York, 1m2f Group 1)

Comes out more or less equal with Ghaiyyath at the weights given her mare’s allowance and has more than enough ability to take a hand in the finish.

A six-time Group 1 winner, she has looked better than ever in her two runs so far this season and looks to have her ideal conditions.

Ghaiyyath, who beat Enable in the Eclipse earlier this season will be a tough nut to crack if on song but Magical’s price looks too big.

INDIANAPOLIS (3.45 York, 2m handicap)

This horse has improved every time he steps up in trip and run well on his first try over 1m6f when third at Glorious Goodwood earlier this month.

Stayed on strongly on that occasion and every reason to think that further improvement can be eked out on his first try at two miles.

James Given’s horses are running well at the moment and Indianapolis is set for a big run here.
