Pretty consistent in seven AW runs and well backed when leading final 1f to win the 17-runner Chester Plate (2m2f, good) in May on return to turf; failed to live up to favouritism in another consolation race at Newcastle (2m Vase, AW) three weeks ago but that sixth of 20 off this mark was his best form, so he remains one to be interested in. |

Didn't look straightforward when the race got serious on last two outings but he was nevertheless better at keeping a straight line when cheekpieces were enlisted for six-runner maiden at Sandown (1m2f, good) last time and stuck his neck out well to win by 1l; some improvement is probably needed going handicapping but he has to be considered seriously in this small field. |
